Book 1- Some page layouts are interesting. A large format on one page and multiple similar images on the other page.
Book 2- I like the black background of pages. I also like how objects are used to portray certain emotions.
Book 3 - The subject of this book is very similar to the idea i want for my book, a portrait of a town.
Book 4 - The images in this book are similar to what I want to shoot in my book, Images of building decayed or restored.
Book 5- I like the macro style images of decayed building and wood. This is something I plan on shooting in my project.
THEME: A portrait of a small dilapidated town. Oswego, NY.
ACCESS TO SUBJECT: Very easy. I don't have to worry about models, and I live here.
SEQUENCING: A mixture of environmental portraits, photos of buildings, and people and things that live in the area will be mixed through out. The images will start during the daytime in the town, and end at night. I am also thinking about shooting from one side of town to the other, because i feel there is a large difference between East and West Oswego.
TEXT: While I am not positive, I have been looking through books to find poetry or music that discusses small towns. I am thinking of placing these poems line by line underneath the imagery. Depending on how strong the poem or songs convey the theme will depend if I use them or not.
PAGES: I plan on doing the 41 - 80 page range. Most likely around 60 images.
AUDIENCE: I plan on my imagery being strong enough to attract the attention of any audience, young or old, small town residents to city lovers.
